I am often asked by first-time RV buyers: what else do I need to buy with my camper? This is a GREAT question! I remember how surprised I was in 2015 when I bought my first teardrop, I was floored at all the additional expenses that I didn’t expect.
This is now the third installment of our “Day in the Life” series, where we film everything we do all day so that we can bring you with us! It’s had a surprisingly positive response – which certainly has to do with our current pandemic and the obvious “cabin fever” that has come along with it.
Sometimes you assume that just because you’ve gone some place tons of times before without anything bad happening that you’ll get the same outcome the next time you go there. Well, that’s what we thought as we headed out to one of our favorite boondocking spots in Colorado. After about two weeks of being in our spot we woke one night to something most RV’ers probably dread—a mouse in the camper!
When we moved into our nüCamp T@B 400 camper and 2019 Toyota Tacoma we couldn’t be happier. But we soon realized that our truck would need a few improvements to handle the extra weight of the larger camper. Mainly, we needed something to help reduce the amount of squatting we were seeing in the back end of the truck when we hitched up the camper.
We recently attended the annual Texas Tiny Trailer Rally hosted by Princess Craft. Once again, it was a weekend surrounded by amazingly talented and ingenious campers who were happy to allow me to share their creative ideas! Enjoy the video showcasing their creative modifications, and find out more at the links below. Shopping through our Amazon links even helps support us on the road!
It’s that time of year again! With temps dipping down below freezing, don’t risk bursting pipes in your RV… winterize! In this video, Kendrick will walk you through 10 quick steps to winterize your TAB 400… but, we do it a bit different. We prefer to use vodka rather than anti-freeze. Vodka will only allow you to go down to temps around -16 degrees F, but we prefer this all natural, easy to to clean method. Happy winter camping!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned working in the RV industry, it’s that the term “camping” can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people! And that also means that there is a different solution for everyone when it comes to finding a place to rest your head (and your wheels) for the night.
We have officially been Livin’ in Little Bear for nearly 4 months now! We’ve been asked by several folks to do a video tour of our home. The truth is, it took us a few months to get settled in and customize him a bit… and quite frankly, to have anything interesting to show you!
