These videos show features and modifications of trailers.
You’ve seen them in the news, on the internet, and maybe even on the road. You’ve read about the freedom, the simplicity, and the happiness they can bring. And now you’re ready to start your own “tiny journey”.
But simplifying your life and finding the perfect home is no tiny task! There are an overwhelming number of options when it comes to finding the right tiny house for you. From legal requirements to simple aesthetics – where do you start!?
To share with you the possibilities and adventures that await down the road less traveled, I made a video to showcase some of the roads I am grateful to get Rocky down. Please enjoy this 3-minute expedition with me!
Folks seemed to enjoy my video 23 Quick Ideas for your T@G or T@B. It was a great way to get a slew of ideas from a lot of different creative people. So when I recently attended another gathering, T@bazona, I took the opportunity to gather some more great ideas!
Back in April, Kendrick and I moved from a T@G named Phoenix into a T@B named Rocky. Life has been a crazy roller-coaster of lessons, and we’ve learned quite a bit about living in our T@B on the road.
Finally, we’d like to share a little bit about our home, and some must-have items to making full-timing easier.
So you want your bike while you’re on the road, you say? But you can’t find a good place to put it, you say? Well I had the same problem! Can’t go on top of the car, because I’m too short and that’s where I store things. It can’t go on the hatchback of the car because I don’t want to move them just to open the door. Can’t go behind the trailer because it’s too long and I like my clearance.
Three years ago I didn’t know what a trailer rally was. Now they are the hub of my relationships with new friends and “camping family”. I recently attended the Texas Tiny Trailer Rally hosted by Princess Craft. Besides being a wholesome place to meet like-minded folks, rallies provide a unique opportunity to see a slew of great ideas all in one place!
I’ve attended my fair share of trailer rallies over the past couple of years, so I thought I knew exactly what to expect at this event. For the most part I was right – good food, good friends, and a boatload of great new ideas. Yet there were a few things I was still surprised by, namely the peaceful atmosphere and the picturesque landscape. However, by far the most surprising thing was the single most common word used by all the campers to describe one another: family.
As you all know, I spent the best year of my life living in a tiny T@G teardrop trailer. When the time came to move on, I took Phoenix back home to the nüCamp factory in Sugarcreek, OH and picked up my new Outback T@B, Rocky.
I often tell people that my life flows like a book. A series of chapters – short stories, really – roughly bound together to create the larger volume of my life. Each week I find myself in a new place, for a new reason, sitting in a new situation. The characters and settings change while I remain. As such, my stories with Phoenix were coming to a close. I am not sad. I will remember each night with fondness as I eagerly pursue new adventures by new means. And so, it was time to meet Rocky.
In this video you learn 18 of my favorite camper modifications. These “camper hacks” are not only incredibly useful, but each one has helped me turn my ever moving house into a home.
