These videos share some rather interesting adventures – usually about hiking to beautiful places!

Stop and Smell the Bourbon

Join us for a quick vacation through 10 of Kentucky’s distilleries! This time, we set out for a few of the smaller craft distilleries that are newer or “off the beaten path”… of course with a few classics mixed in there as well.

Going Off Road with the T@B Boondock

To share with you the possibilities and adventures that await down the road less traveled, I made a video to showcase some of the roads I am grateful to get Rocky down. Please enjoy this 3-minute expedition with me!

Part 3: A Photographic Journey through the Grand Canyon

And now for the stunning conclusion in the 3rd and final installment of my Grand Canyon trilogy! (I’m sure you’ve all figured out by now that I survived, right?)

Part 2: A Photographic Journey through the Grand Canyon

Now for Part 2! We covered a lot of miles in this episode. In addition to the beautiful scenery, I tried to include some practical backpacking tips of day to day hiking. Thanks to the wonderful invention of video editing I’m able to keep the video moving pretty quickly – so if you want more details on any of the items I mention, just keep reading and I’ll include links!

Part 1: A Photographic Journey through the Grand Canyon

One thing Kendrick and I always try to do is get away from the crowds. While only 1% of the visitor’s to the Grand Canyon actually make it to the bottom, we wanted to be the 1% of the 1% that took a different path! The two most popular trails to the bottom are the South Kaibab and the Bright Angel trails.

The Best Bits: Death Valley

With the growing age of social media and increasing accessibility of quality cameras, it’s becoming more common for photographers to share their work. I could let this upset me. I could see this as an over saturation of competition, and a devaluing of my skillset. But I don’t. I choose to view this new age as an opportunity for me to share as well – to reach people I otherwise would not be able to.

The Best Bits: 2017

At the end of the day, at the end of the year, and even at the end of our lives, the moments we will be remembering fondly will be the best ones. The very best bits.  And so 3 years ago I began a collection of videos I call my “Best Bits” series.

Pursuing Your Passion: A Man and the Mountains

Back in April, Kendrick and I moved from a T@G named Phoenix into a T@B named Rocky. Life has been a crazy roller-coaster of lessons, and we’ve learned quite a bit about living in our T@B on the road.

Recently I’ve focused my videos on camping tips and tours. While that is a major part of my life, nothing inspires me more than the story of people. I am intrigued by the people who have a great passion in life. Those who prioritize pursuing that passion to such an extent that it becomes their entire life.

A Grand Adventure: Standing on top of the Tetons

The most effective lessons come of our own experience. We cannot know these lessons until we have given ourselves the opportunity to learn them from our failures. Such was the case with my most recent endeavor to summit the Grand Teton.

Colorado 14ers: Getting Acclimated

It’s been a long time goal of mine to climb the Grand Teton. I spent the last week prepping on some of Colorado’s 14ers. Join me for an adventure or two!

Two Go Tiny: Teardropping meets Truck Dwelling

As if living in a 70 sq. ft. “house” wasn’t difficult enough, add a second person and learn how to really prioritize the things that are important in life! Join me and Kendrick as we merge our two tiny dwelling lives into one. Some things are just worth a risk.

Walking a Mandy Mile

The nature of my lifestyle breeds very little downtime to reflect on my experiences. Sometimes it feels like life moves a mile a minute, and if we don’t force ourselves to breath for a minute, we might just wake up 10 years later.
